As one of the results of Amber Coast Logistics project (ACL), CASE Belarus has issued the policy paper on how the transit cargo flows are developing on the way through Belarus, taken into account truck and rail transit. Based on the calculations of Belarus Transit apl container tracking Complexity index for 1994-2011 and correlation of the cargo flow and transit number through Belarus, the paper releases the forecasts of transit cargo flows via Belarus until 2025, as well as proposes changes in trucking regulatory system in Belarus to be able to cope with growing number of transits in the future.
